K-KAT 670 Catalyst for Silane Terminated Polymers

An excellent catalyst for crosslinking of silanated polymers, end-capped with dimethoxy, trimethoxy or diethoxy silane groups. It is highly effective in the replacement of tin and eliminates the production of methanol emissions. K-KAT 670 demonstrates similar cure responses to tin.

New NACURE XC-269 was developed for formulators looking for BPA-free systems that are in compliance with FDA and EC directives while new NACURE XC-296 was developed for epoxy-free systems often incorporating polyester/phenolic resins. Both catalysts offer excellent processing resistance, superior adhesion properties and good package stability.



Additive Package in Compliance with European Eco-Label Criteria (Commission Decision 2011/381/EU). NA-LUBE BL-1232 EL is an environmentally friendly multifunctional premium ashless additive package designed for use in ester-based systems.

TiO2 Optimization

K-SPERSE® 152 - TiO2 Study

This study demonstrates the advantage of using K-SPERSE 152 to disperse titanium dioxide when compared to another commercially available dispersant. Improvement can be seen in dispersant efficiency, as measured by pigment dispersant demand. Also, due to the hydrophobicity of K-SPERSE 152, there is generally a reduction in water sensitivity and an improvement in corrosion resistance in the finished coating.

Temporary Rust Prevention - NA-SUL 1019A

Demonstration of the role of rust preventives with a water based rust preventive.  This situation simulates flash rust by showing two panels after being exposed to a vinegar solution.  As you will see in the video, flash rust is prevented by the addition of NA-SUL 1019A into the water/vinegar solution.

Making a Pre-Gel - DISPARLON AQ-607

When preparing a pre-gel with DISPARLON AQ-607 it is important to follow proper mixing techniques and instructions in order to achieve the desired results. Blade size, mixing speed, and vortex control all contribute to effective incorporation of DISPARLON AQ-607.

DISPARLON 6900-20X Paste Incorporation

The masterbatch technique is used when there are no pigments or fillers present in the paint. The masterbatch can be post added to the final paint. Masterbatches are typically prepared at 10 to 20% concentration. The typical masterbatch formulation is 20 parts DISPARLON 6900-20X, 40 parts Xylene, and 40 parts resin solution.
