Hybridized Polyamides Presentation at Waterborne Symposium

Sam Morell will be representing King Industries at the Waterborne Symposium in New Orleans, presenting on Hybridized Polyamides- Novel Waterborne Rheology Control Agents on Wednesday, February 22nd at 3:30 p.m.
The presentation will focus on traditional and new rheological additives used in the coatings industry. Emphasis will be placed on a novel line of products built on hybridized amide chemistry which were recently developed for waterborne coating systems. These products form a needle-like structure and impart excellent thixotropic effects without an increase in viscosity. Advantages in waterborne coating systems include ease of post addition, high shear thinning, sag control, heat age stability, and the prevention of pigment settling and hard caking.
