Ashless NA-LUBE® AW additives provide formulators multifunctional benefits including extreme pressure, secondary antioxidant, and rust inhibition performance. Antiwear additives provide a protective coating on the metal to protect from wear. These additives are suited for food grade lubricants that require rust protection and high load capability (FZG) at low treat levels.
The HX-1 NA-LUBE® BL package is a rust and oxidation inhibiting additive package with antiwear performance, designed for use in the food processing industry. Depending on the application and the food grade base oil used, the effective treat level is 1.0 % by weight with a maximum treat rate of 2.3 % by weight.
