NA-SUL® and K-CORR® inhibitors offer uniquely effective chemistry through a combination of surface activity and excellent solubility in a broad range of carrier fluids. These synergistic polar compounds have superior protection in thin film systems for harsh, high humidity and salt environments. They are effective on an array of metallic alloys and counter the corrosive effects of certain extreme pressure and antiwear additives.
NACURE® acid catalysts accelerate the amino crosslinked reaction by reducing the temperature and time needed to cure the system. These tough high performance films can exhibit improved moisture/corrosion resistance, higher gloss, excellent exterior durability and improved adhesion. Our DDBSA acid catalysts comply with FDA 21 CFR, Sec. 175.300 (b) (3) xii & xiii (a&b).
NA-LUBE® EP additives are sulfurized, light color and low odor extreme pressure additives used to formulate low odor and chlorine-free finished fluids. They provide direct contact protection between the metalworking tool and machined metal surfaces to prevent friction damage under heavy loads. These sulfurized additives are surface functional, imparting friction reduction to allow for increased pressure to be applied.
The NA-LUBE® AW series of ashless antiwear and extreme pressure additives is based on a variety of phosphorus, sulfur and nitrogen chemistries. Antiwear additives adsorb then react chemically under loaded conditions on metallic surfaces to prevent abrasive wear. For ashless systems, these additives are effective alternatives to metallic phosphates. NA-LUBE AW products are suitable alternatives in metalworking fluids to chlorinated paraffins when combined with sulfur carriers such as NA-LUBE EP additives.
