Chemical Operator – The Chemical Operator will be responsible for managing batch operations within specific reactor buildings. This includes coordinating material transfers out of batch reactors and maintaining situational awareness of all building operations. The ideal candidate should have three or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as well as be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

2nd or 3rd Shift Drummer – King Industries has an exciting entry level opportunity in our manufacturing department. In this position, you will assist in our manufacturing process by packaging products in 55-gallon drums. The role of the 2nd or 3rd Shift Drummer includes basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, and multiplication) as well as the ability to read and respond to written instructions.

Engineering department. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering and have the mechanical ability to design and trouble shoot electrical and electronic controls instruments.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), have completed 4 years of electrician trade school, and bring at least 2-5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing instruments and electrical equipment. A Connecticut State E-1 Electrical License is required for this position.

Welder – King Industries has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welder to join our Maintenance Department. In this role, you will assist with the measurement, layout, preparation, fabrication, installation, and repair of structural metal components and process piping systems. You will work alongside a skilled team of maintenance professionals, including four experienced welders, in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Carpenter – King Industries is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Maintenance Department in Norwalk, CT. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrated carpentry experience. This position is responsible for supporting facility maintenance, constructing special projects, and assisting with the movement, rigging, and installation of equipment throughout the plant.
