K-FLEX® resin modifiers provide improved adhesion, corrosion/moisture resistance and excellent UV durability. K-FLEX resin modifiers also provide improved flexibility and hardness of cured films. The resins are supplied at 100% active liquids with a variety of viscosities that are efficient at reducing the overall VOC of formulated systems. K-FLEX resin modifiers have good solubility and compatibility in waterborne and solventborne aminoplast and urethane systems.
NACURE® acid catalysts accelerate the amino crosslinked reaction by reducing the temperature and time needed to cure the system. These tough high performance films can exhibit improved moisture/corrosion resistance, higher gloss, excellent exterior durability and improved adhesion. Our DDBSA acid catalysts comply with FDA 21 CFR, Sec. 175.300 (b) (3) xii & xiii (a&b).
NACORR® provide corrosion resistance and water resistance for solventborne and waterborne systems. NACORR can be used as the primary corrosion inhibitor or in combination with anticorrosive pigments. NACORR products exhibit synergy with anticorrosive pigments improving the salt spray resistance of the coating.
With the addition of surface control agents and rheology additives, the optimal marine and protective coating can be achieved with high film build, excellent sag control, pigment suspension, defoaming and leveling properties. The DISPARLON® powder polyamide thixotropes are ideally suited for heavy duty epoxy and urethane formulations. DISPARLON provides a balanced mix of performance benefits for both waterborne and solventborne heavy duty coatings.
K-KAT® catalysts are alternatives to tin catalysts for isocyanate, blocked isocyanate and moisture cure silane systems.
K-STAY® is an additional liquid post-addable rheology modifier option for highly pigmented systems for sag control with high gloss. Ideal systems are moisture cure and 2K urethane solvent borne systems.
