Deovulc M is a sulphur donor that is used for articles with good heat resistance and low compression set.

Conventional systems                             0.6 - 1.0
SEV-systems                                           0.5 - 1.5
EV-systems                                             0.5 - 2.0

Appearance                                                                         Dust-controlled, whitish powder
Total sulphur (%)
    ASTM D 1552 (LECO)                                                     24.5 - 27.0
Melting range,
    End of melting (°C) ASTM D 1519                                  120 - 128
Density at 20°C (g/cm3) DIN ISO 787 part 10 A                 1.3

For articles with good heat resistance and low compression set.
Deovulc M splits off sulphur only at relatively high temperatures. Coumpounds containing Deovulc M therefore show steep vulcanization curves, i.e. long flow periods associated with rapid final cure. Normally Deovulc M is used in conjunction with accelerators and low dosages of sulphur. The vulcanizates have good heat resistance and low compression set.

In originally sealed package in dry places at max. 25 °C
min. 1 year

Deovulc M is classified as hazardous material according to EEC directives and labeled as “irritant” (Xi) and “dangerous for the enviroment” (N). For more detailed information, please refer to our Material Safety Data Sheet.
