DISPARLON 1970 is a silicone-free, high molecular weight surface active agent. The product acts as a leveling agent with a defoaming effect.
ADVANTAGES:
Imparts leveling, thus minimizing cratering and pinholes.
Provides smooth film surface with excellent image reflection.
Releases air that is trapped during paint production and mixing process.
Eliminates foam produced during coating operation, whether it be from roller coater, flow coater
or dipping.
Does not affect recoatability.
APPLICATIONS:
1970 can be used in almost all solvents, high-solids coatings, and automotive coatings.
1970 can also be used in high build urethanes and epoxies, where it can also act as a leveling aid.
