NACORR 4426 is an emulsifiable corrosion inhibiting additive that provides excellent rust and corrosion prevention in waterborne emulsion coatings. It is a proprietary preparation of a synthetic sodium dinonylnaphthalenesulfonate and polymers.
ADVANTAGES:
Excellent salt fog and humidity protection
Excellent stability in emulsion systems
Effective on steel, galvanized steel and aluminum
Especially effective in low solids waterborne systems
TYPICAL PROPERTIES:
Appearance: Light brown viscous liquid
Viscosity, 40°C: 2775 cPs
Density, 25°C: 0.99 g/ml
Weight Per Gallon, 25°C: 8.3 lbs.
Flashpoint, COC: >100°C (>212°F)
APPLICATIONS:
Emulsion based protective coatings and low solids waterborne systems.
TYPICAL USAGE LEVELS:
4-10% based on the total weight of paint if used as the sole anti-corrosive agent. When used in combination with other types of corrosion inhibiting pigments, NACORR 4426 should be added at 25-50% of the total anti-corrosive pigment loading.
