NA-SUL CA-50 is an effective and versatile rust and corrosion inhibitor for a wide range of applications and formulations. NA-SUL CA-50 has excess alkalinity in the form of oil-soluble calcium carbonate. It is extremely effective in grease formulations for fresh and salt water corrosion. This in combination with acid resistance makes NA-SUL CA-50 an ideal choice for post-tensioning grease formulations.

NA-SUL CA-50 is also used in extreme pressure lubricants where it provides superior rust protection and acid neutralization. As a result of its alkalinity, NA-SUL CA-50 works as an HCl scavenger when used in combination with chlorinated paraffins to avoid rusting of newly machined metal parts. This feature is highly effective for rust preventives used in acidic atmospheres, including pickling lines.

NA-SUL CA-50 can also be used for formulating military hydraulic oils that need to provide outstanding demulsibility and extremely effective rust protection under humid conditions. NA-SUL CA-50 is also used in high performance dewatering fluids.
